Louis August "Pete" Reinstedler, 69, of 8003 N. Watterson Trail, died at 4:15 p.m. Monday, December 1, 1969, at St. Joseph Infirmary.

He was born on October 4, 1900, in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of Joseph Henry Reinstedler and Matilda Mary Kaufman.

Louis August Reinstedler, 29, of Louisville, and Helen Frances Mulligan. 24, of Daviess County, Kentucky, were married on May 20, 1930, in Louisville, Kentucky.

He was a retired construction superintendent for Whittenberg Construction Co., where he worked for 40 years. He was a member of the Social Male Chorus.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, the former Frances Helen Mulligan; three sons, William L., Joseph H., and Thomas E. Reinstedler; a daughter, Mrs. Robert J. Landherr; and 15 grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 2040 Buechel Bank Road, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. The body will be at Bosse Funeral Home, Barret & Ellison, after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
