Mrs. Harry Barsch née Viola Alvina Jung of Fredericksburg, Texas passed away in the Hill Country Memorial Hospital in Fredericksburg on Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at the age of 85 years. Viola was born on Dec. 16, 1925, in Gillespie County, Texas the daughter of Thomas and Hilda Kunz Jung. Viola married Harry H. Barsch on January 11, 1949 in the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fredericksburg, Texas. Viola worked for the Comfort Independent School District as a secretary and aid for 20 years before her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and brother-in-law, Florence and James Jenschke, and one brother, Clayton Jung
Viola is survived by the following: her husband, Harry Barsch of Fredericksburg, one daughter and spouse, Carrie and Bryan Bierschwale, one son and spouse, Tim and Ann Barsch.; Four grandchildren, Todd Bierschwale, Kimberly Bierschwale, Meridith Itz, and Carena Barsch. One brother and spouse, Herbert and Darlyn Jung, one sister and spouse, Jocelyn and George Jowers, and one sister-in-law, Carol Jung.
