OAK CREEK, WIS. – Lillian M. Poulin DeVeau, 78, was born to eternal life on Nov. 25, 2004, after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Waterville ME, Aug. 19, 1926, a daughter of Arthur and Imelda (Bedard) Labbe.
She was educated in Winslow schools, and graduated from Winslow High School in 1943.
She was first married on Nov. 9, 1946, to Wilfred Poulin, who passed away Dec. 19, 1990.
She later married Tom DeVeau in 1997.
She was employed at Central Maine Railroad for several years.
An avid golfer, she enjoyed her memberships at the Waterville Country Club and Natanis Country Club.
She was a life master at Bridge.
Her "joie de vivre" was her loving family and friends.
She also enjoyed 20 warm winters in Fort Walton Beach, Fla.
She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends in Maine, Florida, and Wisconsin.
She leaves her beloved husband, Tom DeVeau, of Oak Creek, Wis.; a daughter, Ann Moran and husband, Sean, of Norfolk, Mass.; two sons, James Poulin and wife, Nancy, of Acton, Mass., and Tom Poulin and wife, Sue, of Auburn; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lucille Lantiegne, and Carmen Easinsky both of Connecticut; six stepchildren; and 11 step-grandchildren.
