Ira Behimer
Lewistown--Ira Behimer, 97, longtime Fort Benton resident, died Monday in a Lewistown hospital. He was born in Illinois and moved as a young boy to Kansas, where he married Nellie Moss in 1907. The couple moved to Montana in 1915, farming in the Square Butte area until 1925, when they moved to a farm south of Fort Benton. Behimer moved to the Eagles Manor retirement home in Lewistown in 1973.
Survivors include a son, Gerald, Lewistown, and a daughter in Colorado.
