George Thomas Harris, 72, died last night August 20, 1947 at his home near Antioch. He was born in Martin, Grant County, WVa, the son of the late George T. and Catherine Bly Harris. He was engaged in farming. Mr. Harris is survived by his wife, Maggie M. Rotruck Harris; three children, Otto F., Nettie, and Thomas V. all of Antioch, and four grandchildren. He was the last member of his family, and a member of the Ridge Congregation Church of the Brethren.
Funeral Services for George Thomas Harris, who died Tuesday evening at his home near Antioch, were held yesterday morning at 10:30 o'clock at Knobley Church. services were conducted by Elder Lewis B. Flohr, and interment was in Knobley Cemetery.
Pall Bearers were; Herbert , O'dell, and Thomas Leatherman, Emory O'Brien, Taylor O'Brien and Edward O'Brien.
