He was born April 30, 1910 at Topeka, the son of Fred and Zona Pendergrass Fisher.
Mr Fisher was a member of Seward Avenue Baptist Church.
He was married to Lillian I Jones in 1935 at St Joseph MO. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Walter F Fisher Jr, Dolan Spring AZ; a brother Robert Lee Fisher, Des Moines IA; a sister, Opal Lewis, Topeka; three grandsons and three great-granddaughters.
