Lena Farrar Mathews was the daughter of James Adelbert and Ida S. (nee Farrar) Mathews. She was a graduage of Miss Mittelberger's school in Cleveland, Ohio and also of a woman's college in the East. She died at 82 years of age at her apartment at 1961 Ford Drive N.E. She never married and had no children.
