The body of Elza O. Almond, brother of Earl Almond of Danville, was interred Sunday afternoon in the Lizton K. of P. Cemetery following services from the Baker Funeral Home. The Rev. Warren Robbins of the Plainfield Christian
Church, of which he was a member, officiated. He died July 4 in the Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, where he had been a patient since June 30.

A native of the Plainfield community, he was born June 10, 1893, the son of John T. and Emma Hadley Almond. He was a resident of 7529 Beckley Drive in Chapel Hill. A veteran of World War I, he was a member of the Plainfield American Legion Post, World War I Barracks and the Last Man's Club of Plainfield.

Surviving with the brother are the widow, and one son, a sister, nine grandchildren
and one great-grandchild.
