Captain Nathaniel Peck, Jr. was born on June 2, 1725 in Greenwich, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He was the son of Nathaniel Peck, Sr. (b. August 15, 1697 in Greenwich; d. 1765 in Greenwich) and Mary Pardee Peck (b. April 9, 1700 in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut; d. January 6, 1758 in Greenwich).

He married Jerusha Curtis (Curtiss) on October 9, 1746 in Greenwich. She was born on July 4, 1727 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut, the daughter of Isaac Curtis/Curtiss (b. ca 1700 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut; d. 1741 in Stratford) and Elizabeth Bostwick Curtis/Curtiss (b. May 12, 1704; d. ca 1736, both in Stratford).

The children of Nathaniel Peck and Jerusha Curtis Peck were:

Captain Nathaniel Peck was an officer in the local train band; he was appointed Captain of the east company of Greenwich, October 1757.

The exact date of Jerusha's death is not known, but she died after May 15, 1763, when the Baptismal Records of the First Congregational Church in Stamford, Connecticut recorded the baptism of their eighth child:

"May 15, 1763 - Charlotte Peck [born] to Jerusha, wife of Nathaniel of Greenwich"

Nathaniel died in 1775 in Greenwich.
