Jacob P. Fowler died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J.F. Wilder, last Saturday afternoon. Mr. Fowler had recently removed from Stanfordville to McIntyre to take charge of the local station on the Poughkeepsie and Eastern railroad, but was taken with grip, which terminated in quick consumption. He came to Chatham two weeks ago. Mr. Fowler was 71 years of age. The funeral occurred yesterday afternoon, Rev. Dr. McCartney officiating. Interment at Pine Plains.
