Funeral services for Myrtle Griffin Sheffield, 90, of Jasper, will be December 7 at 2:00 PM at Forest Oaks Funeral Home with burial to follow at Friendship Cemetery in Roganville. Visitation will be held on December 6 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Oaks Funeral Home.
She passed away December 4 at her residence. A native of Newton County, she was a lifelong resident of Jasper and a member of Peachtree Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sister, Fronia Cox of Seminole and her nephew Audie Cox also of Seminole.
In lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the Peachtree Baptist Church, 216 FM 254, Jasper, Texas 75951.
