Death Calls Former Lorenzo Resident
Mrs. Leander (Bertha Gertrude) Clifford, 81, died at Emmett Friday, following a lingering illness. She was born July 10, 1881, at Pocahontas, Arkansas and they came to live in the Lorenzo area until 1923 when they moved to Emmett.
Her husband, five brothers and sisters preceded her in death. A son and a brother survive.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Emmett and graveside services were conducted Wednesday morning at Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
