Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Temple Hill, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Reiff Funeral Home, Cascade, where there will be a wake service at 7 p.m.
Mrs. Caraway was employed in sales at Berggren-Traynore and Svensk Stuga Boutique, both in Libertyville.
She was born on March 9, 1922, in Cascade, daughter of Hugh M. and Mary H. (Finn) Duffy. She married Lawrence D. Caraway on April 11, 1950, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Temple Hill.
She received her education in the Temple Hill area schools and was a longtime member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Libertyville. She was a loving wife and devoted mother and especially enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Surviving are her husband, Lawrence Caraway, of Johnston; four daughters, Mary Caraway and Myra Caraway, both of Chicago, Patricia Caraway, of Denver, Colo., and Deborah (John) Sircy, of Paducah, Ky.; a son, Thomas (Amy) Caraway, of Maitland, Fla.; four grandchildren, Jonathan Sircy, Elisha Sircy, Asher Sircy and Nathan Caraway; a sister, Peggy Duffy, of Maquoketa; a brother, Orville (Shirley) Duffy, of Cedar Rapids; and a sister-in-law, Virginia Duffy, of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her parents; eight brothers; a sister; and her first husband, Robert Callahan, in 1945.
