She was born October 24, 1913 in Fremont to Raymond and Camilla (Thompson) Cook. She was a lifetime resident of Fremont and attended Fremont Public Schools. Before her marriage she was employed by Kresge's Dime Store. She married Melvin G. Siders on June 18, 1931 in Wahoo. He died October 4, 1998. She helped with the family business, Siders Truck Farm with acreages in Inglewood and West Military.
Beulah was a member of First Christian Church, Fremont and their Homebuilders Sunday school class. She served as a primary Sunday school teacher, a deaconess, and was a Christian Women's Fellowship Group Leader and Church Clerk. She also served on several church committees. Beulah was a member of the Linden School PTA.
Survivors include: 2 sons – Richard and wife Ruth Anne Siders and Larry and wife Maggie Siders, all of Fremont; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: parents; husband; a brother, H. Vernon Cook; and step-father, Paul C. Abel.
Funeral service will be 9:30 A.M. Saturday, July 30, 2011 at First Christian Church in Fremont. The Rev. Greg Lugn and The Rev. Dr. N. Dwain Acker will officiate. Visitation will be Friday 3-8 P.M. with family receiving friends 6-8 P.M. at Moser Memorial Chapel, Fremont. There will be closed casket visitation with family receiving friends at church one hour prior to the service Saturday. Burial will be at Memorial Cemetery, Fremont.
