Mrs. Geraldine Laverne Reams, 29, a former Jackson County resident, died Friday in St. Petersburg, Fla., after a long illness.

She was born Nov. 19, 1939, in Jacob, a daughter of Martin and Emelia Koch Guetersloh. She was married Jan. 15, 1958, in Washington, D. C., to Phillip Reams.

Mrs. Reams was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Neunert.

She leaves her husband; sons, Keith and Byron, both at home; her mother, Mrs. Emelia Guetersloh of Jacob; brothers, Roy and Marvin Guetersloh, both of Murphysboro, and Carl Guetersloh of Jacob; and sisters, Miss Marilyn Guetersloh of Jacob and Mrs. Maxine Harrell of Paducah, Ky.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Christ Lutheran Church, with the Rev. W. O. Petzoldt officiating. Burial will be in the Fountain Bluff Cemetery near Gorham.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at the Crawshaw Mortuary Chapel in Murphysboro, and after noon Tuesday at the church.
