Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, Florence L. Jensen, age 89, passed away May 19, 1991, at the Wasatch Villa Nursing Home.
She was born November 12, 1901, in Salt Lake City to Frank Alonzo and Anna Amanda Jenkins Wilcox. She married Arlin B. Jensen June 11, 1924, in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a member of the Daughters of Pioneers, the LDS Church, and active for many years in the Relief Society.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Dorothy M. and Dee R. Clegg of Midvale; Arline and Warren T. Whittaker of Salt Lake City; Stanley and Sandra L. Jensen, of Salt Lake City; sister, Helen Marie Wilcox; five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlin B., daughter, Leona Florence Jensen, seven sisters, two brothers.
Funeral serivces will be held Thursday, May 23, at 11 a.m., at the Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 So. Redwood Road, where friends may call Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery. The family greatly appreciates all the care and attention the staff of Wasatch Villa gave their mother.
