Amanda Gleason was the daughter of Amasa Gleason (15 Feb 1776) and Aner Griffith (8 Mar 1776, both born in Rowe, Franklin County, Massachusetts.

Amanda married Issac Clark (abt. 1810 Schoharie, NY) around 1824, she was about 15. The couple had two children, Amasa Gleason Clark 1825, and Caroline Clark (Rhodes) born 20 Apr 1830.

Amanda died age 24 years, 3 months. Her husband remarried and the family moved from the area.

Late in life, about 1826, her son remembered her as being laid to rest when he was seven years old at the "old Reform Dutch Burying grounds in Schoharie Village." From the Schoharie County Cemeteries, 2nd Edition (2009), published by the Schoharie County Historical Society: "Old Dutch Reformed Church Cemetery was located in park on Main St., Middleburgh, some stones moved to Reformed Church on River St." (p. 12)

That location is now Memorial Park, near Main Street (Route 145) and Creekside Lane, a recreational area.

Since this information does not seem to match cemeteries now listed on FindAGrave.com, I have added a new one and have asked the admin staff to advise me on how best to show her burial location.
