MANTUA– Ralph Louis Yearsley, 75 passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 surrounded by his family.

Ralph was born on December 30, 1935 in Malad, Idaho a son of Ralph Dee Yearsley and Eva Mae Reese Yearsley.

He graduated from Box Elder High School and attended Utah State University. Ralph served his country in the Army in Germany.

He married his sweetheart Alice Ann Watt on August 17, 1956 in Thatcher, Utah; they were sealed in the Logan LDS Temple in 1963.

Ralph was a member of the LDS Church and was a Home Teacher and was a High Priest and had been the secretary of the High Priest. He enjoyed horse racing, bowling, golfing, hunting and fishing. Ralph had served as a Mantua councilman.

Surviving are his wife Alice Ann Yearsley, Mantua, UT; children: Michael (Debbie) Yearsley, Mantua, UT; Cindy (Larry) Hansen, Mantua, UT; Sandie White, Brigham City, UT; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his sisters: Doris Ann Dabb and Carol Mae Probasco.

He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at the Mantua 1st Ward Chapel, 237 S. Willard Peak Rd, Mantua.

Family and friends may call on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and on Saturday from 11:00 to 11:40 a.m. at the Mantua Church.

Interment will be in the Mantua Cemetery.
