Marguerite Ainsworth Dixon, 90, of Ellisville, died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at Jones County Rest Home in Ellisville.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville. Burial will be in Welch-Graham Cemetery in Ellisville.

She was a member of West Ellisville Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher and a member of the Joyful Singers. She was a retired nurse from South Central Regional Medical Center and also worked at the Reliance Corporation of Laurel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, A. Brown Ainsworth and Ida Lucy Welch Ainsworth; husband, Wilbur James Dixon; brother, Albert B. Ainsworth; and sister, Agnes Ainsworth Mitchell.

Survivors include her daughter, McKeva Dixon of Ellisville; sister, Mable Ainsworth Morris of Laurel and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be her nephews.

Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
