Overcoming polio at an early age, surviving two WII campaigns, and twenty-six years on the Minneapolis Fire Department, Robert Neal Carlton Broberg, to his family, was the definition of determination and hard work. He also wore many hats. Veteran, Fireman, Mason, Shriner, Carpenter and Cabinet Maker, Outdoorsman, Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. He was so many things to so many people. He was as stubborn as they come, but when you broke through the rough exterior, there was a heart of gold that was willing to do anything for anyone. He is and will be greatly missed.
