A native of Williamson County, he was the son of the late Wiley Snow and Annie Sullivan Mangrum, and a member of the Church of Christ He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Willie Mangrum; daughters Mrs. Laura King, Mrs. James Hay and Mrs. Maxine Beasley; two sons, Phillip Mangrum, all of Fairview, and Clifford Mangrum of Nashville; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Ina Mai Bethshears of Franklin; three brothers, Coley Mangrum and Joe Mangrum, both of Franklin, and William Mangrum of Fairview.
Interment was in Fernvale Cemetery and nephews settled as pallbearers. Franklin Memorial Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
He married Mary Lizzie Gomer 10 August 1913 in Williamson County, TN and together they had five children.
