Harvie L. Creager, 79, of Modesto died Tuesday at Doctors Medical Center.
Mr. Creager was a native of Bromide, Okla., and lived in Modesto 30 years. Before retiring, he was a farmer for Vista Del Llano for 17 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of the Baptist Church in Mendota.
He is survived by his wife, Helen J. Creager of Waterford; brothers, Calvin Creager and Donald Creager, both of Texas; and sisters, Willie Burris and Pauline Winters, both of Texas.
A graveside service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Friday at Belmont Memorial Park in Fresno. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the Colonial Chapel of Franklin & Downs.
