David E. Dutton, age 71, passed from this life and entered into heaven's rest on Sunday, December 27th, 2009 at his home in Lindsay, Oklahoma. David was born in Lindsay, Oklahoma on April 14th, 1938 to John Henry Dutton and Thelma Cleo (Anderson) Dutton. David married Sue Ann Wylie on March 17th, 1999 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
David lived in the Lindsay area all of his life. He was the Power Plant Operator for the City of Lindsay for twenty-nine years. David was a member of the Erin Springs Baptist Church in Erin Springs, Oklahoma. He enjoyed metal detecting and playing dominoes and checkers, and he loved to hang out with his buddies at Gas and Go.
David is survived by his wife, Sue Dutton of the home, two daughters, Kimberly Kay Gray and Tenessa Lyn Bagley, two sons, Guthrie Ray Blachly and Evan David Dutton- of the home, four sisters, Phyllis Ivy of Elk City, Oklahoma, and Gayla Rouse, Fern Taylor and Addie Yarbrough, all of Lindsay, Oklahoma and two brothers, Herbert Dutton and Henry Wayne "Hank" Dutton, both of Lindsay, Oklahoma. David is also survived by his grandchildren; Tonia Mullins, Traci Gagliardi, Justin Nunn and Brianna Bagley and his great-grandchildren; Nicole Crowe, Rickey Crowe, Zachary Mullins and Presley Morris. David will be greatly missed by all the loved ones he leaves behind.
Preceding David in death were his first wife Molly McDaniel Dutton, his parents, John Henry Dutton and Thelma Cleo Dutton, his son, Johnny Chris Dutton, and one sister, Shirley Dennis.
Funeral services for Mr. Dutton are set for ten o'clock a.m. on Wednesday, December 30th, 2009 at Erin Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Bill Love officiating. Interment will follow at Erin Springs Cemetery. Services are under the direction of B.G. Boydston Funeral Home of Lindsay, Oklahoma.
