John Garrett Arbegust, 85, died Thursday, March 16, 1989, at Georgetown Manor Nursing Home, 900 Gagel Avenue, Louisville, Kentucky.
He was born on April 3, 1903, in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of John Beauregard Arbegust and Minnie Viola Swann.
He was a retired rate clerk for the old Smith Transfer Co., where he worked for 30 years, and a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Edit Nora Arbegust.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday.
Expressions of sympathy are suggested with Mass of the Air.
