Bertha is the daughter of Redmond David Hooser & Elvira Jane (Shipley), and was the 6th of 9 children born. She 1st Married William Freeman Draffen on 29 July 1903 in Clinton, Henry Co, Missouri. She married William T. Kaiser on 10 April 1939 in Sedalia, Pettis County, Missouri.
