Juana only lived 5 years. Sibling Candido died the same year one day later and is also buried in this cemtery. Their father was an Alamo survivor and he is also buried in this same cemetery.He is reported to be the "last eye witness to the battle of the Alamo." At age eight, Enrique witnessed one of the bloodiest battles in history. His father, Gregorio Esparza, was killed in the fighting on that day, March 6, 1836. Enrique died in San Antonio, Texas of natural causes at age 89.The mother of Juana and wife of Enrique is Maria Gertrudis Hernandez b. 1820.
