Miss Marguerite Dee Whiting, 26, died at the home of her mother, Mrs. W. C. Adkins of Gallia Street, Sciotoville, at noon Tuesday following an extended illness of tuberculosis.
Miss Whiting was born May 13, 1910, at Fayette County, W. Va., a daughter of John and Monie Whiting. Her father died in 1912. She was a member of the Sciotoville M.E. Church.
Beside her mother, she is survived by her step-father, W. C. Adkins of Sciotoville, two sisters, Mrs. John Munion and Mrs. Richard Young, and two half-sisters, Lillie and Wilma Adkins, all of Sciotoville. She also leaves her grandfather, Joel Reynolds of New Boston.
The body was removed to the home of her mother and funeral services will be under the direction of Louis Ted Hacquard.
