WINSLOW — Mrs. Henry Borchardt, 51, died in St. Clare Hospital, Monroe, Saturday afternoon following an illness of 11 days. The former Carrie May Lake was born at LaSalle May 5, 1903, the daughter of Alexander and Amanda Lake. She was married to Henry Borchardt in December 1922. He died in 1950.
Survivors include two sons, George L. Borchardt of Freeport and John Frederick Borchardt of Monroe; and two daughters, Miss Rosemary Borchardt of Freeport and Miss Viola Borchardt of Monroe; and one sister, Mrs. Florence Salter of Freeport. Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Cardascio Funeral Home in Winslow, with the Rev. John Bruce, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Rock Lily Cemetery, Winslow.
