REEDSVILLE - Lloyd E. King, 72, of 42 East Railroad St., Reedsville, died at 2:07 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001, at the Lewistown Hospital emergency room. Born April 30, 1929, in Reedsville, he was the son of the late Sherman Elwood and Isabel M. (Henry) King. His wife, Dona A. (Deeg) King, preceded him in death on July 5, 1996. Surviving are: children, Ruth Evans Fultz, Bellefonte, Wade E. King Sr., Reedsville, Ronald L. King, Lexington, NE, Lloyd A. King, Reedsville, and Laura E. Squirrell, New Haven, CT; brother and sisters, Theodore L. King, Reedsville, Irma J. King, Reedsville, and Mrs. Albert (Carol) Stull, Spring Mills; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was a 1947 graduate of Reedsville High School. He served with the U.S. Air Force National Guard during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired welder from New Holland with over 30 years of service. He attended Reedsville United Methodist Church. His memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, at the Reedsville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Richard J. Bender officiating. There will be no public viewing, however, friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, at Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville. Memorials may be made to: Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 117, Reedsville, PA 17084.
