Floyd Elmer Clements, 68, 507 S. Elliott St., a resident of Muncie since 1910, died Saturday at Ball Hospital. He retired in February as an employe of the Delaware Trucking co. He had been ill for three weeks. Mr. Clements attended the Normal City EUB Church.
Surviving are his wife, Jessie; two brothers, Herbert, Lafayette, and John, California; four stepsons, William and Wesley Simpson, both of Muncie, George Simpson, Portland, and Alonzo Simpson, Bellevile, Mich.; seven step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Meeks Mortuary, with the Rev. Russell Hiatt of Hartford City officiating. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 2 p.m. Sunday.
