Funeral services for Mrs. Louella Riley Haywood, 97, were held at the Methodist church at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Ralph Smith, pastor, officiating. Interment was in Burns cemetery, Earnheart directing.

Mrs. Haywood, Trenton's oldest citizen, died at her home at 4:45 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, 1963.

She was born April 26, 1866, in Cowan, Tenn., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Riley. She married Roland Haywood June 22, 1884, at Van Alstyne. She was a member of the Methodist church.

Survivors are a son, Bill Haywood of Trenton; three daughters, Mrs. Susie Norwood, Mrs. Walter Holcomb and Miss Georgia Haywood of Trenton, two grandchildren and three great-grandchilden.
