Mr. Dietrich was a 1943 graduate of Kutztown High School.
He was an operating engineer for W.E. Yoder, Inc., Kutztown, for 50 years, before retiring. Prior to that, he was employed by the former Reuben Leibensperger Equipment and Harold Kurtz Chevrolet.
He was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, where he served 18 years on church council and served as the secretary of New Bethel Zion Cemetery Association, Grimville.
He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 542, Reading, and a member of Huguenot Lodge #377 F.&A.M., Kutztown and Reading Consistory.
