Found in The Florence Morning News 25 February 1941 (which is faded and difficult to read, the following interpretation may be incorrect): Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Worrell, 62, widow of the late R. C. Worrell, died at &:15 o'clock last night at her home at 113 North Griffin street after a long illness. She is survived by four sons, Elliot of Salisbury, N. C., Walter of Florence, ? of Rock Hill. Luther of Fort Bragg; one daughter, Mrs. J. B. Walls of Florence; one brother, Boyd Isgett of Pamplico; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Jeffords and Mrs. N. Isgett of Pamplico. Mrs. Worrell had been a resident of Florence for 31 years. The body will remain at Gotha's funeral home pending arrangements for the funeral.
