Lester K. Beers, 53, veteran of World War I and clerk for the Pennsylvania Railroad until his retirement a year ago, died this morning at his home,on Front Street, Belvidere. He was born in Belvidere, son of Jonas Beers and the late Mrs. Lydia Kline Beers. He was a member of Belvidere Post, American Legion, Brotherhood of Railway Clerks and the Railroad Relief Association, and of Goodwill Fire Company.
