BITLER SERVICES HELD

EUREKA -- Funeral services were held this morning, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, for Charles Lester Bitler, who died Sunday in his home. The services were conducted by the Rev. Francis Hay. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Members of the family have suggested contributions to a memorial which has been established in the Greenwood County Hospital.

Mr. Bitler was a lifetime resident of Eureka and he was the owner of the C. L. Bitler Sheet Metal Works. The son of Charles L. and Alice Kirch Bitler, he was born May 6th, 1910; and he was married to Lois Teter on July 1st, 1940. He is survived by his wife, of the home; two sons. Lew and Dan, both of Eureka; two daughters, Dorothy M. Hayes, Mountain Home, Idaho, and Mrs. James (Barbara) Beitz, Eureka; two sisters, Esther Lewis, Eureka, and Madge Roop, Wichita, and eight grandchildren.

The Campbell Funeral Home was hi charge of arrangements for the services.
