Rites for Weltha Roth
Weltha M. Roth, 80, 1415 Second Avee., S.E., Cedar Rapids, died at her home Saturday afternoon.
The service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Eugene Hancock of St. Paul's United Methodist Church of Cedar Rapids officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
The daughter of William and Alice Groves Gibson, she was born April 13, 1901 in Milton. She married Julian A. Roth Jan. 24, 1923 in Keosauqua. He died June 2, 1954.
She had lived in Cedar Rapids for 25 years and lived previously in the Fairfield and Troy communities . She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church of Cedar Rapids.
Mrs. Roth is survived by one daughter, Verla I. Manley, Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and one sister Violey Styre, Ottumwa. She was preceded also in death by six brothers and three sisters.
