Ocie W. Aulds, 56 of Choudrant, life-long resident of Lincoln Parish, died Sunday morning in a Shreveport hospital after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at the Choudrant Methodist Church Tuesday at 11 a.m., with Rev. E. W. Bryan officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. The body will remain at the residence until funeral time.
Mr. Aulds, a veteran of World War II, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gladys Aulds; five daughters, Mrs. Annie Lee Alexander, Mrs. Ivy Mae Stokes, and Mrs. Dolly Williams, Ruston, Mrs. Lorean Campbell, South Gabriel, Calif., and Mrs. Casceal Hodges, Oklahoma City; two sons, L.A. "Pete" Aulds, Ruston, and Austin B. Aulds Shreveport; six brothers, Floyd, Oscar, and Shep Aulds of Choudrant, Sammie Aulds of El Paso, Tex., and Brett and Jesse Aulds of Calhoun: one sister, Mrs. Ruth Grant of Monroe.
