LOVETT, April 8 - Mrs. Esther (Berkebile) Knepper, aged 69 years, a widow, died at her home at Knepper's Mills near here. Death was due to a complication of diseases.

The deceased was a native of Somerset County. She was a daughter of Aaron and Margaret (Penrod) Berkebile. He husband passed away 19 years ago.

Mrs. Knepper is survived by the following children: William E. Knepper, of Altoona; Gilbert L. Knepper, of Conemaugh; A. C. Knepper, of Summerhill; Abe Knepper, of Lovett; Lillian E. Knepper, at home; Mrs. Estella Weygant, of Florida; Mrs. Margaret Linebarger, of California; Mrs. Odessa Croyle, of South Fork; Mrs. Dolores Sell, of California, and Mrs. Dorothy French, of Newark, N.J. She also leaves 15 grandchildren and these brothers and sisters, William Berkebile, of Stoyestown; Joshua Berkebile, of Kanter; Mrs. Anna Weysel [*sic], of Cleveland, O., and Mrs. Matilda Ling, of Johnstown.

The body was turned over to George Bros., South Fork undertakers, to prepare for burial. Funeral services will probably be held Sunday in the United Brethren Church at Sidman. Interment will be in the South Fork Cemetery.
