AJAX — Services for Austin Megason will be at 10 a.m. today in Bethel Congregational Methodist Church with the Rev. William Hassan officiating. Burial will be in Ajax Cemetery under direction of Blanchard-St. Denis, Natchitoches.

Megason, 75, of Robeline died at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday, June [sic July] 6, 1993, in Natchitoches Manor Nursing Home, Natchitoches.

He was a member of Beulah Methodist Church, a retired fence contractor and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Gertie Megason of Robeline; two sons, Olan Megison of Natchitoches and Mark Megason of Robeline; one daughter, Ann Anderson of West Monroe; three sisters, Gladys Lauw of Natchitoches and Avis Johnson and Louise Smith, both of Robeline; four brothers, Bee R. Megason of Waskom, Texas, Dick Megason of Safford, Ariz., Claudia Megason of Clute, Texas, and Kenny Megason of Robeline; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call until time of services today in the church.
