Resident of Three Springs, 94, Dies
Miss Margarite Nail, 94, of Three Springs passed away at the home of her niece, Mrs. Ira Hersey, at 6:30 p.m. Monday, 16 September 1946. Death followed an extended illness.
She was born in Fulton County on 24 November 1851, the daughter of David and Martha Nail. The last survivor of a family of eight children, she leaves a number of nieces and nephews.
A member of the Lutheran Church, she devoted most of the time in her later years to reading the Bible, her favorite books and the newspaper.
The Reverend Richard Meyers will conduct the funeral service in the Green funeral home, Huntingdon at 2 p.m. Thursday. The funeral cortege will arrive at the cemetery about 3:30 p.m. Friends may call at the funearl home after noon on Wednesday until the hour of the service.
