Funeral services were Friday, January 10, 1975 from the Mt.Zion Baptist Church. Interment followed in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens. Rev. Monroe Dyches and Rev. Austin L. Phillips officiated.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clara Phillips Aultman of Bainbridge; three sons; Sidney MorrisAultman, Frank Aultman and Phillip Merrill Aultman, all of Bainbridge; two grandchildren; two sisters; Mrs. Mildred Rogers of Camilla, Georgia and Mrs. Agnes Turner of Green Cove Springs, Florida; a brother, Owen W. Aultman of Brinson, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Aultman was a member of the Mt.Zion Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon in the church. He also was a member of Orion Lodge No. 8 F&AM; the Hasan Temple of the Shrine; the Bainbridge Shrine Club; Decatur County Farm Bureau; and was the recipient of the Farmer of the Year in Soil Conservation. -Bainbridge Post Search Light, Jan 1975
