Funeral Services of Veteran Contractor Will Be Held Sunday Afternoon

Elnathan Boynton, one of the oldest contractors in Atlanta, died at his residence, 124 Forrest Avenue, at 3 o'clock yesterday morning. His health had been feeble for some years and the immediate cause of his death was pneumonia.

Mr. Boynton was 69 years of age. He moved to Atlanta in 1875 from new Hampshire, his native state, and had lived here continuously since. he was well known in the city, having a wide acquaintance.

Mr. Boynton is survived by his widow and the following children: Mrs. J. W. John and Sarah Lorena Boynton/)Sower, Mrs. J. T. Wright, H. E. (Halbert Elnathan) Boynton, A. S. (Arthur Stilwell) Boynton, and J. M. (John Marshall) Carrigan, a stepson.

The funeral services will be conducted at the undertaking parlors of H. M. Patterson & Son, Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. S. P. Wiggins and Dr. W. C. Lovett will officiate. interment will occur in Oakland Cemetery.
