DEATH OF SARAH E ROUDEBUSH -- Mrs Sarah E Roudebush, widow of Jacob Roudebush, died Friday night at 9:45 o'clock at the home of her son, Harley C Roudebush on Lafayette Rural Route 12, seven miles south of the city. She had been ill for several months. Mrs Roudebush was born in Darlington, April 4, 1844, the daughter of John and Rachel Coapney [sic]. On January 11, 1866, she was united in marriage to Jacob Roudebush. To this union seven children were born. Mr Roudebush and three children preceded her in death. She was a member of Concord U B Church . Surviving are three sons, Ira H Roudebush, and one daughter, Mrs Frank Hollcraft of Rural Route 6, also thirteen grand-children and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Concord U B Church with the Rev Charles Baker, officiating. Burial in Conarroe Cemetery.
