BRIAR OAKS - Willard Claude "W.C." Cobb, 75, a retired tool planner for Bell Helicopter Textron, died Tuesday, July 4, 2000, at his home.
Graveside services: 10 a.m. Friday in Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials: May be made to the Leukemia Society.
Willard Claude "W.C." Cobb was born Sept. 6, 1924, in Walker County, Ala., to Manly Claud Cobb and Buler Irene Higginbotham. Mr. Cobb moved to Texas and from 1949 to 1971, was employed with General Dynamics of Fort Worth. Subsequently, he was employed as a Tool Planner with Bell Helicopter Textron for 17 years, where he retired in 1990.
Survivors: Wife of 53 years, Opal A. Cobb of Briar Oaks - Burleson; daughters, Claudette Wynn of Burleson, Janice Pennington of Fort Worth and Pamela Boyd of Arlington; son, Michael Cobb of Lancaster, Calif.; sisters, Juanita Cobb of Fort Worth and Sue Barron of Dallas; brothers, Jack Cobb of Quinton, Ala., Don Cobb of Joshua and Frank Cobb of Arlington; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
