Mr. Hugh Kenneth Albea, a WWII Army Vet, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020, at the age of 102.

Ken was born in Tignall, Ga., on February 18, 1918. He was the son of the late W. C. Albea and Ruth Butler Albea. Ken retired from the Ford Motor Co. after 30 years of service.

Kenneth was preceded in death by the passing of his wife of 67 years, Sara Nell Winfrey Albea, by his brother Charles Albea, and by his sister, Frances Albea House. He and Sara maintained a second home in the Beulah Community where they raised fresh vegetables and donated fresh and canned foods to the community. Kenneth has been a member of the Beulah Baptist Church since August of 1960.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lynda and Anthony McDaniel, and by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Beverly Albea; four grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren; and nephew, Clinton Albea.

Private graveside services will be held at 11:00am Friday, May 15, 2020, at the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Thigpen officiating.
