Death of Stephen Richardson.
Stephen Richardson, aged 77, a resident of Kansas City for twenty years, died yesterday at the home of his son, John Richardson, an engineer on the Kansas City, Fort Scott & Memphis railroad, Fort Scott, Kas., of old age.
He was the father of Mrs. Louis Steinecke, Mrs. Edward Abrams and Mrs. D. Porteous, all of this city, and Mrs. Louis Barnett, of Brooklyn, N. Y. The body will arrive in Kansas City this morning at 10 o'clock. The funeral will be held from the home of his son-in-law, Louis Steinecke, 1316 Oak street. The time for the services has not been decided upon.

Stephen M. Richardson, born in Little Washington, Washington County, Pennsylvania, found in 1850 and 1860 census in Tippecanoe, Indiana, in 1870 census in Nishnabotna, Missouri. He was a widower in the 1895 census living in Ft. Scott, Kansas, with his son, John T., a railroad engineer. Stephen was a farmer/farm laborer all his life. He was married to Lucinda Morrow. Their children were Marietta, Matilda, Lucy, Araminta, Lillie (my g-grandmother), John T. and Sarah.
