Betty Ann Billingsley, 62, of North Vernon, died Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at her home.
Betty was a Columbus High School graduate, a homemaker, a member of Bethel Baptist Church in North Vernon and she loved animals.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Section 82 Veteran in Garland Brook Cemetery with Pastor Charles Kennedy and Dalene Yates officiating.
Calling will be from 9-10 a.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street.
Born in Columbus, OH February 20, 1949, Betty was the daughter of Roy Alvin and Lillian June Andrew Adkins. She married Edward H. Billingsley December 31, 1975. He preceded her in death January 31, 2000.
Survivors include her children, Vivian Burton of Seymour, Mechelle (Randy) Ackerman of Columbus, Brian Young of Poland, IN, Tonia (Eric) Taylor of Taylorsville, Thomas Billingsley of Columbus and Timothy Billingsley of Columbus; grandchildren, Nikita, Austin, Kenneth, Emily, Cameron, Briana, Tristan, Brody, Jacob, Brayden, Clayton, Elizabeth, Victoria, Erich and Peyton; brothers, John (Julie) Adkins of Columbus and James Adkins of Colorado.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
