Funeral services for Dona Moser, 103, of Gainesville are set for 10 a.m., Monday, July 25, 2011 at the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jerry Elliott officating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 24, 2011 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Moser died July 20, 2011 at Denton Regional Hospital.
Dona was born Oct. 26, 1907 in Vera to Andrew Jackson and Mary Shipman Ballard. Dona enjoyed quilting and playing practical jokes with her family. She also had a great love for her family and flowers.
Dona is survived by four children, Clora June Mabry, Raudine Womack, Eurshlee Odell Moser and Aquella Gayle Moser, 21 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great- grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Kevin Breeden, Brycedean Breeden, Richard Moser, Denis Mabry, Bee Gonzales and Joseph Morrison. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Odell Moser, grandson Favin Breeden and seven brothers and sisters.
