MOUNT VERNON – Nell Richardson, 91, died Wednesday, July 6, 2011 in Mount Vernon. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Harvey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Webb officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Vernon City Cemetery under the direction of the Harvey Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Glen Zachary, William Cobb, John Richardson, Reuel Richardson, Charles Smith, and Mark McCleneon.
Mrs. Richardson was born on Sept. 27, 1919 in Franklin County to W.C. Clevenger and Dora Whitehorn.
She is survived by husband, Bob Richardson of Mount Vernon; step-children, Carolyn and Bill Cobb of Dallas, Robert Jr. and Nancy Richardson of Plano, Reuel and Sandy Richardson of Farmersville; sister-in-law, Ann Clevenger of Daingerfield; nieces, Mary Nell Tinsley and Mary Jo Holmes both of Mount Vernon; nephew, Gerald Holmes of Talco; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe in 1991; and a nephew, Don Holmes.
