The funeral was arranged Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Robert Richardson of Central Presbyterian Church, with burial in Red Hill Cemetery.
Born in Alabama, 7 Sep 1872, he was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Jack Armstrong.
Surviving is his wife, formerly Miss Annie Coward; these children, Mrs. W.K. Anderson of Alvarado, Mrs. Marvin Alexander of Paris, Mrs. Dexter Ray of Paris, R.M. Armstrong of Paris, and D.L. Armstrong of Paris, Mrs. Iri Hollingsworth Jr., now in Frankfurt, Germany, and Miss Sue Armstrong of Dallas; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Named pallbearers were L.M. Coward, L.J. Ashford, S.J. Parrett, Merlin Smyers, Arthur Patterson, and B.G. Martin.
